Hey, you have any pictures of your club? This forum takes attachments.

Andyou might want to put url in the form "secondlife://simname/x/y/z" ? That should make a link people can click on and pull the map up set to that spot in SL.

Also it would be good to put the time in SLT (pacific time, currently pacific daylight time), in addition any other time zones you want to give info for.

I'm trying to get a picture to test out whether you can really put attachments here or if the thing that says you can put attachments here is just a trick.

Sending the pictures from SL to Snapzilla is kinda slow, and a rather silly way to send attachments, anyway, since I will have to copy it to my hard drive from Snapzilla.

It's faster to get pictures on the web using Photobucket. Photobucket has a utility that lets you right click and send multiple pictures to it, it works pretty nicely. Couple that with a free program like Irfanview to take the screen capture and edit the picture and resize it, etc., and that makes a pretty nice way to send a pic.

I'm just filling in time waiting for the picture to appear in Snapzilla.

Well that is too slow, I'll take a different approach, using SnagIt to capture the picture and save it to my disk.

Also, you can attach pictures here directly off the internet, in addition to being able to post them with an image link.

Ah, now that I have posted I see that the attachments appear as thumbnails, which could be good in some cases but not as good in others.

I was hoping to be able to toss in the picture I sent to Snapzilla ten or more minutes ago but it still hasn't shown up there.


The cropped screen capture is still in SnagIt, so I can use it's send email function to send the picture to Photobucket.

That works nearly instantly, generally, and here's the pic:

And now, 20 minutes after sending the picture to snapzilla from within SL, and having time to write this post, accidentally lose the post and use my keystroke capture utility to recapture my keystrokes, screen capture in snagit and send it to photbucket, and save a picture to my hard drive and attach it here, finally, the picture is now in Snapzilla.
